Just Stay Calm-eleon

I have never heard of the colloquially used term "lizard brain" before in reference to impulsive involuntary sounds or reactionary verbal noises, and it kind of freaks me out that lizards might have similar verbal reactions to things, especially to pleasure like for orgasms. DO LIZARDS SOUND LIKE HUMANS? or worse... DO HUMANS SOUND LIKE LIZARDS? I feel like I am going to walk into a forest and hear lizards having sex... that is a really scary. Scarier then getting eaten by a bear. This is too weird, I am going to end this stream of thoughts paragraph here. Ha, I'm lying. Here is a quick play about it.

Just Stay Calm-eleon

By Rachel Shatzkin

Sex sounds (orgasm, etc.) come from campers room next door to camp counselor's room. Counselor tries to sleep but can't over the noise.

COUNSELOR: [Grumpy] Pesky campers! DO THEY HAVE NO FEAR. I'll show them. Just you wait. [Evil laugh] When I call your parents you'll come crying back to me for forgiveness.

Storms out of room. Hand on knob of the campers door.

COUNSELOR: HA! I'VE GOT YO- ... umm.

Campers awoken by counselor's intrusion. Both campers were sound asleep in their respective beds. Moonlight pouring in through window, streaming down highlighting two lizards 'together' on the windowsill.

COUNSELOR: Ummm. I- I'm sorry. [to lizards] I mean carry on... [to campers] I no just.. just go back to sleep...

Backs out the door and gently closes it. Stands in hall, flustered. Tries to calm herself

COUNSELOR: It's ok. You're ok. Just stay calm-eleon.

THE END

As probably apparent, I took a hard pause after reading the first few pages to write the above, new hit play 'Just Stay Calm-eleon'. But after finishing the reading, I was intrigued by the discussion of the potential benefits and drawbacks along with the initial amount of skepticism surrounding AI as well as machine learning in regards to emotional potential. I know there has been a lot of excitement around the recent AI generated virtual art. I think that is something beautiful that comes from this area, but I too sometimes feel skeptical because after all, even AI or computers are not unbiased because they too are programmed by a human, and that factor cannot be overlooked.
